- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We just moved to the area and used this office for the first and last time. We are new home owners so we wanted professional help to make sure everything was filed correctly. Next year, I'll do it myself. Alice did our taxes for us. Alice is not a pleasant human being. We walked in the room and she didn't even acknowledge us. I said "HI how are you?" And got no response. We sat down and she just stared at us so I started the conversation and told her we had some questions and she interrupted me saying "she won't know until she looks at it" and then complained when I handed her other papers that she didn't want. The rest of the time she sped through the process not explaining anything and answering my questions like I was an idiot. She kept typing in information incorrectly and I had to correct her multiple times. She never offered any of the protection plans or extra services, she just skipped through them assuming we weren't interested. We left in about an hour wishing we had never gone in there. Over 2 weeks went by and my husband hadn't received his state refund. I called the office and the man who answered was very short with me as well. I spelled out his name and he said he would look it up and call me back. He called within 5 min telling me he had no record of us being there. He asked the date and who helped us and I gave him every detail and he said Alice didn't remember us and there was no record of us. At this point I was worried they lost all of his info but I told him that I have the packet they gave us when I left. He respelled the name for me and he had his last name spelled wrong even though I provided the information the first time. He called back and said we were no longer getting a refund and we would get and letter. The letter happened to come that day and now we find out that a week before taxes are due, we now owe money instead of getting money back because our dear friend Alice put in the wrong County code for state taxes. We paid way too much to get our taxes done by these incompetent people for them to give us awful service and mess up important and vital information. Honestly i feel like we deserve a refund for the terrible services we paid for. We will never return to this office.By m. peek, September 12, 2017

She found every possible deduction/credit, e-filed quickly, and we received much more in a refund than Turbo Tax had quoted.
